A collection of poems copied down by soldiers during their night watches along the border. Grains of yellow sand still seem to linger between the pages.Back then, they still had the peace of mind to write of the moon and homesickness, of clashing steel and galloping steeds, and of the day they would finally return home. As though by the time the pages were filled with verse, the war would be over too.
