How it fights
Sanguine is the blood-red sword that has been at Soul's side through "countless trials": shaped like a sword, it hits with the weight of a heavy blade.
The screen draws its Standard Combo as five presses and its Sha-Chi Combo as three. Its own technique, Sweeping Blade, spends 1 Sha-Chi Essence on a fast flurry of slashes that cannot be blocked.
The 2025 S-Party demo's card described it in other words: "Forged from a mysterious metal, Sanguine is shaped like a sword but carries the weight and impact of a cleaver." The same demo has two weapons Forge modeled on it, the short swords Sanguine Twin and the polearm Sanguine Reach.
