Jagged Steel, the Frenzied Brute

The fight

Jagged Steel, the Frenzied Brute is one of the new bosses of the October 2026 preview build, the only footage that shows him so far. He is a hulking marauder, and the fight takes place on open, stony ground.

Once he falls, the game offers his weapon on the spot with "Equip the new weapon now?". The blade keeps his name, and its entry in the weapon list remembers him as "a marauder as foolish as he was arrogant".

The weapon is a One-Handed main weapon built around bleeding. At level 1 it reads Damage 272 and Status Effects 103, and every hit adds to the target's Bleed Gauge until Blood Loss sets in.
