Phantom Blade Zero weapon White Serpent & Crimson Viper in a fight

How it fights

White Serpent & Crimson Viper are a pair of Dual-Wield swords, once owned by Bai Chilian and shaped after snakes. S-GAME numbers them Weapon No. 27 in its Year of the Snake trailer. The long White Serpent lets Soul fling the short Crimson Viper outward for ranged hits.

The 2025 S-Party demo's card lists two moves. One ends a combo by throwing "the shorter sword out as a projectile weapon", which "Can execute near-death targets from afar"; the other launches "a graceful combo attack that resembles the dance of twin snakes" for 1 Sha-Chi Essence.

At weapon level 5 the pair gains Viper Mark: the thrown Crimson Viper marks its target, which then takes more damage and loses Sha-Chi faster, and a Guard-Broken target stays broken longer. While the short blade is away it keeps draining Soul's own Sha-Chi and comes back by itself when he runs low.

The August 2026 deep dive's upgrade screen shows the pair at level 21, then resets it to level 1, where one more level costs 1,170 Remnant Dust, 3 Twinned Metal and 1 Solvent. Dual-Wield weapons call their second stat Break Power.

“Once owned by Bai Chilian, these swords are designed to mimic the movements of snakes. In Soul's hands, though, their attacks are more graceful than vicious.”

Viper MarkWeapon level 5
“Press to throw the Crimson Viper short blade and mark the enemy. Attacks against the marked enemy deal increased Damage and cause greater Sha-Chi Drain Rate. If the Crimson Viper marks a Guard-Broken enemy, its Guard-Broken duration is extended. While away from Soul, the short blade continuously consumes Sha-Chi and is automatically recalled if there is insufficient Sha-Chi.”
